Week 9 Rankings: D/ST Units (Parity At Its Finest)

What we have here is a prime example of how quickly the elite can end when going down the list. This week, the Bears and Texans, two elite defenses, have excellent matchups. After that, though, all of the "good" defenses have good offenses to deal with. All the bad defenses, the ones you'd normally dismiss immediately, have bad offenses to face. What becomes more matchup worthy? Check it:

1	Bears	@TEN	They struggle to score and the Bears defense actually doesn't struggle to do the same.
2	Texans	BUF	See above, expect a little bit less.
3	Chargers	KC	They were in my Waiver View this week. While they do have to contain Charles, they're all turnover-prone.
4	Packers	ARI	Much to my dismay, the Cardinals get sacked on nearly every dropback.
5	Seahawks	MIN	Ponder's been turning it over lately so that should negate Peterson.
6	Lions	@JAC	Jags give up the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing defenses.
7	Broncos	@CIN	Dalton takes a lot of sacks and has thrown a pick in a few straight games now.
8	Ravens	@CLE	Sure Weeden and T-Rich have looked good and the Ravens D has slowed, but it's still the Browns.
9	Falcons	DAL	Romo turns it over. It's getting tougher to defend him.
10	Cardinals	@GB	Rodgers can get sacked and they have played poorly during sure-win games before (*cough* Jaguars)
11	Dolphins	@IND	They get to the QB just as good as anyone and Luck gets hit a lot.
12	Giants	PIT	Big Ben can turn it over sometimes plus there are inexperienced RBs.
13	Steelers	@NYG	Eli's no fantasy monster these days and the Steelers defense has been pretty solid.
14	Browns	BAL	Flacco is god-awful on the road and the defense is actually pretty decent.
15	Vikings	@SEA	I have no faith in Russell Wilson but they gave up 100 yards to LaRod Stephens-Howling, and he's no Marshawn Lynch.
16	Chiefs	@SD	Rivers has completely fallen off but the Chiefs just aren't good.
17	Cowboys	@ATL	They've been good but Falcons just too high-powered to risk it.
18	Raiders	TB	Losing Carl Nicks will be a HUGE loss for Tampa. Run game will suffer. Pas protection will as well.
19	Buccaneers	@OAK	McFadden's been lowly but they just traded Talib so DHB and Moore are going to run rampant.
20	Redskins	CAR	I think Newton finally has the big fantasy game owners have yearned. It'll come at the Redskins' expense.
21	Eagles	@NO	Again, shootout. Stop it. Don't do it.
22	Bengals	DEN	There's no way Manning doesn't put up 25+ points here, right?
23	Colts	MIA	Sure they're not a prolific offense but they're not going to stop Bush.
24	Titans	CHI	Good luck if this is your option.
25	Jaguars	DET	Stafford has finally gotten it going and the Jags wont be stopping that.
26	Saints	PHI	They're terrible and it'll likely be a shootout. Also, Vick's playing for his job.
27	Panthers	@WSH	RGIII is the offense and the Panthers won't be stopping him.
28	Bills	@HOU	Texans have the best RB and the Bills have the worst fantasy RB defense. I'm not a mathematician...
