Week 9 Rankings: D/ST Units (Parity At Its Finest)

What we have here is a prime example of how quickly the elite can end when going down the list. This week, the Bears and Texans, two elite defenses, have excellent matchups. After that, though, all of the "good" defenses have good offenses to deal with. All the bad defenses, the ones you'd normally dismiss immediately, have bad offenses to face. What becomes more matchup worthy? Check it:

RankD/STOppComments
Bears@TENThey struggle to score and the Bears defense actually doesn't struggle to do the same.
TexansBUFSee above, expect a little bit less.
ChargersKCThey were in my Waiver View this week. While they do have to contain Charles, they're all turnover-prone.
PackersARIMuch to my dismay, the Cardinals get sacked on nearly every dropback.
SeahawksMINPonder's been turning it over lately so that should negate Peterson.
Lions@JACJags give up the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing defenses.
Broncos@CINDalton takes a lot of sacks and has thrown a pick in a few straight games now.
Ravens@CLESure Weeden and T-Rich have looked good and the Ravens D has slowed, but it's still the Browns.
FalconsDALRomo turns it over. It's getting tougher to defend him.
Cardinals@GBRodgers can get sacked and they have played poorly during sure-win games before (*cough* Jaguars)
Dolphins@INDThey get to the QB just as good as anyone and Luck gets hit a lot.
GiantsPITBig Ben can turn it over sometimes plus there are inexperienced RBs.
Steelers@NYGEli's no fantasy monster these days and the Steelers defense has been pretty solid.
BrownsBALFlacco is god-awful on the road and the defense is actually pretty decent.
Vikings@SEAI have no faith in Russell Wilson but they gave up 100 yards to LaRod Stephens-Howling, and he's no Marshawn Lynch.
Chiefs@SDRivers has completely fallen off but the Chiefs just aren't good.
Cowboys@ATLThey've been good but Falcons just too high-powered to risk it.
RaidersTBLosing Carl Nicks will be a HUGE loss for Tampa. Run game will suffer. Pas protection will as well.
Buccaneers@OAKMcFadden's been lowly but they just traded Talib so DHB and Moore are going to run rampant.
RedskinsCARI think Newton finally has the big fantasy game owners have yearned. It'll come at the Redskins' expense.
Eagles@NOAgain, shootout. Stop it. Don't do it.
BengalsDENThere's no way Manning doesn't put up 25+ points here, right?
ColtsMIASure they're not a prolific offense but they're not going to stop Bush.
TitansCHIGood luck if this is your option.
JaguarsDETStafford has finally gotten it going and the Jags wont be stopping that.
SaintsPHIThey're terrible and it'll likely be a shootout. Also, Vick's playing for his job.
Panthers@WSHRGIII is the offense and the Panthers won't be stopping him.
Bills@HOUTexans have the best RB and the Bills have the worst fantasy RB defense. I'm not a mathematician...
