| Rank | Receiver | Opp | Comments |
|---|---|---|---|
AJ Green | PIT | Great matchup, great receiver.
Victor Cruz | WSH | Pass-heavy game and Nicks is still hobbly.
Brandon Marshall | DET | Crazy-high targets and the Lions secondary is awful.
Larry Fitzgerald | @MIN | Fitz has history (and a father) in Minny and no shutdown corner.
Calvin Johnson | @CHI | Likely the lowest he'll be ranked all year, but really tough matchup.
Vincent Jackson | NO | I'm super high on Freeman this week so naturally VJax is going to be a beneficiary.
Marques Colston | @TB | Brees loves throwing to him and with Graham ailing his targets could even increase.
Wes Welker | NYJ | You can't sit Welker no matter what the matchup is. Too many targets.
Reggie Wayne | CLE | Haden got beat badly last week so the matchup isn't as scary.
Hakeem Nicks | WSH | If he's healthy, you play him. Or, "smoke 'em if you got 'em."
Stevie Johnson | TEN | No defensive presence and outside of Chandler, he'll get all of the targets.
Andre Johnson | BAL | Only this high because of his talent, limited opportunities this week.
Percy Harvin | ARI | Will have a slew of defenders at all times but too many touches to ignore.
Miles Austin | @CAR | No shutdown defenders and Dez will attract attention now.
Mike Williams | @NYG | I know, it's really high. I'm telling you, though. Start Mike Williams this week.
Jordy Nelson | @STL | Hopefully Greg Jennings plays and pulls Finnegan. Janoris Jenkins can be beat.
Mike Wallace | @CIN | If Big Ben gets it going Wallace will produce down the field.
James Jones | @STL | He's going for his fourth two-TD game in a row. FOURTH! IN A ROW!
Anquan Boldin | @HOU | Saw last week that any Texan not named Jonathan Joseph cannot cover. Might have a better game than Torrey.
Denarius Moore | JAC | He is becoming Palmer's clear-cut go-to guy, especially in the redzone.
Steve Smith | DAL | These Cowboys corners are too good to let the one receiver on this team do anything.
Kenny Britt | @BUF | A lot of plays, including redzone snaps, are designed solely for Britt.
Antonio Brown | @CIN | Continues to put up decent numbers. Has potential to break out every week.
Torrey Smith | @HOU | Will likely have Joseph covering him but all of his targets are so far downfield that he's worth playing.
Brandon Lloyd | NYJ | He gets his looks no matter who's covering him. Tough to call Cromartie a shutdown CB.
Lance Moore | @TB | If he's healthy, you'll have to play him in what'll likely be a complete shootout.
Kevin Ogletree | @TB | With Dez out, look for Ogletree to get back to his, um, Week 1 form.
Michael Crabtree | SEA | Seattle corners are big and fast. Crabtree may not get much done.
Donnie Avery | CLE | He'll be the best receiver on the Colts that won't have Joe Haden on him.
Josh Gordon | @IND | Has put up consecutive weeks now of almost 100 yards and a TD. He's becoming a safer play.
Randall Cobb | @STL | Rams help defense is far from good. He'll draw third-rate CBs. Safe play.
Domenik Hixon | WSH | Eli's going to throw for at least 400. He can spare Hixon a few yards, can't he?
Nate Washington | @BUF | The veteran in Tennessee seems to get targets left and right and deservingly so, he;s reliable.
Andre Roberts | @MIN | With attention going to Fitz, Skelton can't ignore Roberts.
Stephen Hill | @NE | Sanchez likes to throw to him. Sanchez will have to throw a ton to him.
Kendall Wright | @BUF | Could be in for a huge game here if Hasselbeck plays well.
Jeremy Kerley | @NE | Again, Sanchez will have to throw a ton. It's got to go somewhere.
Andrew Hawkins | PIT | I still like the kid's athleticism. Hopefully it'll translate into more opportunities.
Brandon Gibson | GB | Certainly impressed last week and it's not like Bradford has many other targets.
Darrius Heyward-Bey | JAC | Jaguars are more than just a beatable group. Plus Palmer likes to sling it.
Nate Burleson | @CHI | Burleson will have to benefit from the Bears overloading Megatron's side.
Santana Moss | @NYG | Griffin will have to throw a lot and, especially if Garcon can't go, Moss could be in for a huge game.
Devery Henderson | @TB | See: Moore, Lance.
Deion Branch | NYJ | Why they keep running 40-yard post routes for him into double coverage is beyond me, but it'll pay off.
Brandon LaFell | DAL | Maybe he gets a late TD when the game's already out of hand.
Justin Blackmon | @OAK | The Raiders love to give up fantasy points, Blackmon may break out here.
Jerome Simpson | ARI | Only on here because the last time he played the Cards, he did a front flip to get to the endzone.
Chris Givens | GB | Could definitely see some garbage time production.
TY Hilton | CLE | Browns give up the second-most fantasy points to WRs and Hilton has big-play potential.
Sidney Rice | @SF | I wouldn't bother unless you're really desperate. He' won't get anything done.

Week 7 Rankings: Wide Receivers
This Dez Bryant injury is quite terrifying. Didn't start the week on the injury report, but finished the week as questionable with a groin strain. I've heard he may already be ruled out. In other WR news, I included Hakeem Nicks because, for the first time in at least 71 years, he strung back-to-back practices in a week. I didn't include Greg Jennings because no one should have to keep falling into that trap. And Pierre Garcon, who is still suffering from inflammation under his toe, is also excluded.
