Week 4 Rankings: Wide Receivers

Larry Fitzgerald pulled through for me last week with a monster game and an NFC Offensive Player of the Week title. All hail the best WR in the NFL! (I hope I don't sound like too much of a fan) Those not currently included: Colts, Steelers, Stephen Hill, Hakeem Nicks (well, sort of), Julian Edelman (same), Golden Tate and his phantom receptions, and replacement referees. Enjoy!

Rank Receiver Opp. Comments
Calvin JohnsonMINDespite only scoring 1 TD this season, Megatron's still the second highest-scoring fantasy receiver in the NFL.
AJ Green@JACCurrently the top-scoring fantasy receiver in the league. You're not sitting him and you're not doubting him.
Larry FitzgeraldMIAFinally showed why he IS the best WR in the National Football League. Kolb is learning. Expect more.
Brandon Lloyd@BUFBrady's top-targeted receiver and Buffalo has too much to worry about to throw double coverage. Big game coming.
Andre JohnsonTENIf he's healthy, he's at the top of the charts. Schaub loves to fire it to him. Titans defense is just awful.
Julio JonesCARCarolina is actually really good against the fantasy receivers, but Jones and even White won't be stopped.
Percy Harvin@DETThe amount of total looks between targets and touches doesn't allow you to sit him. He's a stud.
Vincent JacksonWSHExpect a huge game out of this guy. Freeman has connected with him aplenty and
Roddy WhiteCARSee: Jones, Julio. Just expect less yards and maybe no redzone targets.
Steve Smith@ATLAtlanta defense is stifling but if Cam gets anything going, it'll be through this guy.
Hakeem Nicks@PHIJust look at Fitzgerald's numbers last week. Nicks will run the same downfield routes in man coverage.
Demaryius ThomasOAKThe Raiders have nothing resembling a pass defense and Thomas is Manning's go-to guy.
Victor Cruz@PHII'm higher on Nicks than Cruz because the Eagles defend the short routes better than the ones Nicks will run.
Greg JenningsNOGot a lot of looks from Rodgers on Monday and he seems to be back to full health.
Wes Welker@BUFLooks like he should be out of  his funk and the Bills give up the third-most fantasy points to receivers.
Stevie JohnsonNEWhile the Patriots do a decent job of defending the wideouts, no RBs means he should see plenty of targets.
Torrey SmithCLELast week was no inspirational outlier fueled by emotion. I expect Smith to keep up the numbers so long as Flacco does.
Dwayne BoweSDSD has contained most WRs but after watching Julio pick them apart, know that Bowe's targets will pay off.
Jordy NelsonNOThis is the week Jordy Nelson breaks back into last year's pace and makes his owners happy.
Brandon Marshall@DALThe Cowboys corners are damn good but he's too skilled to rank any lower than this. Start with caution.
Eric DeckerOAKThis Sunday, Decker will show fantasy owner why he was worth drafting. Oakland secondary is awful.
Miles AustinCHII'd be terrified to play him. He's this high because Romo frequently targets him near the endzone.
Malcolm Floyd@KCFresh off of a 3-year extension, Floyd will continue his quietly awesome year against a bad secondary.
Denarius Moore@DENNo Heyward-Bey and a good run defense will mean more opportunities for Moore and his big-play potential.
Jeremy MaclinNYGIF he's completely healthy, see him as a quality start. Vick's gonna get crushed, but he'll find him deep at least once.
Marques Colston@GBHis season thus far has been dreadful but they, once again, WILL have to throw and he's got to get some balls his way.
DeSean JacksonNYGI don't trust him enough to start if Maclin's healthy because he takes himself out of plays if it's not coming to him.
Dez BryantCHIHe has one 100-yard game in his 30-game career. ONE. And he's not getting his second against the Bears.
Santonio HolmesSFI've been down on him, but he's pulling more and more targets every week, including 14 last week. He's playable.
Michael Crabtree@NYJNo Revis helps his stock rise a bit, but I think the Niners just run the whole game.
Danny AmendolaSEAThey'll have to throw to keep up since they won't be able to run. MidWest Welker will put up numbers.
Anquan BoldinCLEHe'll have a better game than many are predicting. No Haden means he'll have the Browns' third-string CB.
Pierre Garcon@TBTB has been awful against the pass and Garcon (it seems as though he'll be healthy) will benefit greatly from that.
Andrew Hawkins@JACI've been high on him since Week 1 now and if Dalton wants to stop taking sacks, he'll dump it off more to Hawkins
Lance Moore@GBIf the Packers lean towards Graham/Colston, Moore could be seeing some good looks on quick routes.
Mike WilliamsWSHFreeman may hit him deep for a home run play against an awful secondary, but it's a conditional situation.
Brandon LaFell@ATLAtlanta just looks too good for me to safely play LaFell and feel confident about it.
Nate BurlesonMINThey're using him more and more and if Hill plays he likes to look his way more than Staffy does.
Kenny Britt@HOUHe's not even for-sure playing this Sunday and Houston would shut him down anyway.
Jerome Simpson@DETThey might ease him in, but if they don't it could pay off. He'll be back to flipping and flopping in no time.
Titus YoungMINHe's got to start improving sometime, right?
Nate Washington@HOUThe only guy left on that team that seems to have any big-play capability.
Randall CobbNODon't lose faith in him, he's in for a big year. This could be the start.
Sidney Rice@STLHe'll have Cortland Finnegan the Dirtiest Player in the NFL on him, so you're desperate if you need him.
Andre RobertsMIAKolb loves to go to him. He's a quick-route WR and has big hands. I wrote about him in this week's Waiver View.
Leonard Hankerson@TBHe could be a good play whether Garcon plays or not. Tampa sucks against the receiver and he's second guy.
Julian Edelman@BUFIf he keeps starting in place of Welker, even if it's for a few drives, the amount that Brady looks to him is worth it.
Brian Hartline@ARIIf the incredible Patrick Peterson is covering him, steer clear. If the CB2, start with confidence.
Kevin OgletreeCHIWhile Bryant and Austin take top CBs away, Ogletree needs to have another big day for Dallas to succeed.
James JonesNOJones saw several targets last week and while others attract defensive attention, Jones will continue to see them.
