Week 8 Rankings: QBs (aka Rise of the Old Men)

Fads come and go in just about every aspect of life. Pokemon, skinny jeans, veteran QBs. Well, sort of. Hasselbeck, Peyton, Palmer. They're all going to have great games. It's the return of the Wily Old Veterans!

1	Aaron Rodgers	JAC	Jags are only middle-of-the-pack against QBs because they give up so much to RBs. That'll switch this week.
2	Drew Brees	@DEN	This game is going to be an absolute shootout and Brees wil make up for time lost with Graham if he's back.
3	Peyton Manning	NO	He'd be first on this list, but I also believe McGahee will have a huge game. He could easily go off for 500 yards though.
4	Robert Griffin III	@PIT	He's the number 1 fantasy QB thus far and you're not sitting him no matter what defense he's facing.
5	Tom Brady	@STL	They likely won't be able to run as effectively as they have been running so Brady should be stellar.
6	Ben Roethlisberger	WSH	Washington gives up the most points to WRs and the fifth most points to QBs. Backfield issues, too.
7	Eli Manning	@DAL	Dallas defense has been phenomenal thus far but Eli LOVES playing in Dallas.
8	Matt Ryan	@PHI	Tough matchup but he did throw for four TDs against them last year
9	Andrew Luck	@TEN	This Titans pass defense gets scorched by everyone and with Donald Brown still out, they'll be throwing.
10	Tony Romo	NYG	The Giants secondary is a piñata and Romo and Bryant have been clicking as of late.
11	Michael Vick	ATL	Atlanta's worst defensive game as far as fantasy QBs came against a slumping, scrambling Newton. Déjà vu?
12	Philip Rivers	@CLE	Rivers has an ego and will look to prove himself after the collapse in Denver and the Browns stink.
13	Matthew Stafford	SEA	He's been disappointing but you can't ever count him out. He's too good to just sit.
14	Carson Palmer	@KC	Palmer has been surprisingly good thus far and it's not like Kansas City is going to stop anyone.
15	Josh Freeman	@MIN	My clutch call last week will once again throw his way to glory. Beware of the Thursday night slumps though.
16	Jay Cutler	CAR	Carolina is missing their best defensive players in Beason and Gamble. The Bears should have a field day.
17	Christian Ponder	TB	People seem to be higher on Ponder but he's the second ballhandling option and he's been turning it over.
18	Cam Newton	@CHI	This Bears team ate up every single fantasy player that they face.
19	Matt Hasselbeck	IND	The old man lives! Expect success to continue against a Colts defense that gave up 19 fantasy points to Weeden.
20	Brandon Weeden	SD	San Diego has been very QB-friendly recently and with Gordon and Little finally getting it going, should be good.
21	Brady Quinn	OAK	Quinn has been surprisingly careful with the ball, and I use surprisingly very lightly. Oakland's terrible though.
22	Sam Bradford	NE	Sure he'll have to throw a TON but that doesn't mean they'll all be good throws.
23	Ryan Tannehill	@NYJ	This Jets defense isn't awful and the Dolphins offense is still facing their occasional miscues.
24	Mark Sanchez	MIA	He's been pretty good for the past few weeks but how long will he keep it up?
25	Chad Henne	@GB	He's got to be rusty and while the Packers are missing Woodson, they still have some ballhawks.
26	Alex Smith	@ARI	He's terrible and I hate him. That's that. Also, they run a TON.
27	John Skelton	SF	He may die in this game and I'm only half-joking.
28	Russell Wilson	@DET	He's awful and if Cutler couldn't put up monster numbers on them, don't expect Wilson to.
